To alert you on two new studies exposing fake meat.
A paper out of New Zealand found that people who consumed Beyond Burger fake meat had significantly lower concentrations of amino acids in their blood post-meal than people who consumed lamb, pasture-raised beef, or grain-fed beef. [R]
In other words, the protein quality of fake meat is garbage.
Another paper out of China found that plant-based beef “weakened digestive function” and “showed less digestibility” than real beef.[R]
This isn’t surprising as many of the ingredients in fake meat disrupt the gut microbiome.
Humans have ate meat for at least 2 million years…
While fake meat is an abomination your body doesn’t know what to do with.
